Dear UIT Students,
Applications for the ASEAN-wide National Young Leaders’ Fellowship (NYLF) Programme are now open! Students interested in participating in the program are invited to register.
Achievements in this fellowship program will significantly increase the chances of receiving the SEED scholarship from the Canadian government in the following year, especially if the selected candidate creates a substantial impact for UIT students at UIT.
About the NYLF Programme:
The National Young Leaders Fellowship (NYLF) recognizes and develops outstanding youths aged 15 to 19 years old who are passionate and show conviction in the things they do, regardless of their academic achievements.
About 40 Fellows are selected annually from across Singapore and the ASEAN countries to embark on a nine-month Fellowship programme where young leaders are provided with resources, networks, and practical leadership tips to broaden their perspectives and horizons. Young leaders who are enrolled into NYLF come from diverse backgrounds, different education institutes, and maybe on different paths in life but they are united by one common thread – to effectively lead themselves and others well.
During the nine-month Fellowship, from June 2025 to March 2026, participants will benefit from NYLF extensive support, including access to workshops, mentorship, and a diverse network of both peers and working professionals. This programme offers an excellent platform for youth changemakers to collaborate, exchange ideas, and gain insights into addressing societal challenges they are passionate about.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage with representatives from approximately 18 prestigious organisations across ASEAN countries as well as the Fellows from Singapore. This programme offers invaluable exposure to global perspectives and connections with esteemed leaders and youths driving impactful initiatives worldwide.
