The Signing Ceremony of The Memorandum of Understanding between University of Information Technology and Information Technology Park

On 14 June 2014, University of Information Technology (UIT) solemnly held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Information Technology Park (ITP), which would see the two parties work together in their efforts to support cooperation in the fields of research, and training. The MoU expressed a convergence of strong and mutual will, indicating an intended common line of action between UIT and ITP. It included a commitment that each party would benefit the other’s advantage for the success. This showed a strong tie between members of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

UIT and ITP leaders applauded after UIT Rector and ITP Director signed the MoU. The MoU was signed at the ceremony attended by VNU-HCM’s representatives: Professor Dr. Do Phuc, Director of External Relations Department; Dr. Le Thi Quynh Ha,Vice-Director
of Academic Affairs; UIT attendants included Professor Dr. Duong Anh Duc, Rector; Vice Rectors; leaders of offices, faculties, departments; ITP attendants were Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Thi, Director, as well as deputy directors and leaders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Dr. Duong Anh Duc reaffirmed learning and practicing was an unbreakable link. He stated that both UIT and ITP shared a common ground, being the VNU-HCM member and having the same interest in ICT field. For that matter, the co-operation between the two parties would set out opportunities for deepened links and positive academic engagement between UIT and ITP to mutual benefits, and enhancing systematic strength within VNU-HCM members was one of those vital jobs.

Also at the ceremony, Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Thi emphasized that the MoU concreted the foundation for further collaboration, believing that the relationship would flourish. He noted that under this MoU, UIT and ITP agreed to provide high quality human resources through two-way mobility training programs and conduct researching projects.
