The ASEAN Credit Transfer System (ACTS) is an international student exchange program established by the ASEAN University Network (AUN) to enhance and facilitate student interchange and integration between AUN member universities and the ASEAN Community. In addition, through the AUN+3 expanded network, the program provides possibilities to participate in exchanges at leading Asian universities in China, Japan, and Korea. VNU-HCM and its member units have been implementing the ACTS program since 2015.
ACTS primarily promotes people-to-people linkage through its three goals: purpose enrichment, soft skill enhancement, and international experience exposure. Students gain benefits from ACTS in three ways: credit, intellectual interaction, and networking with ASEAN friends. More than 100 students from six ASEAN nations participated in the AUN Student Exchange Program under the ACTS scheme during the first two years of its implementation (from 2011).
